This Rhythm Latin Vesa Dress is a modern twist on a classic. Firstly, the dress is all purple made of a stretch jersey fabric. The bodice is two layers. The bottom layer hugs the body tightly with a round neckline. The outer layer forms a scoop neck on the front and back of the dress, showing just a couple inches of the layer underneath. The sleeves are off the shoulder, as well as long and flowy. On the front, the skirt has an oblique slant hem, with gathers up the hip. The back of the dress has a hem that looks like a lower case “n.” Lastly, this Rhythm Latin Vesa dress has built-in bra cups and a bodysuit.

This dress also has chic embellishments and accessories. To begin, the dress has Swarovski crystals in AB, including large specialty diamond shaped stones. They adorn the front neckline, climb up the sleeves, and travel to the back of the dress. Additionally, the dress has a detachable belt, which is shown in the picture. The belt also has Swarovski stones and fringe that dangles from the center front made of strips of the jersey fabric. It cinches in the waist and creates a flattering figure. Finally, other accessories include a hairpiece and two cuffs.

Babylon was the capital city of Babylonia, an ancient kingdom in Mesopotamia, known as the city of cities. It was known for its wealth and prestige. The people wore tunics. The more elaborately a tunic was draped, typically, it resembled that they were from a wealthier class. Clothing was often made of a large piece of fabric, and pinned at the shoulder to hold it in place. Between the draping, Swarovski crystals at the shoulder like a broach, we can see the influence of an ancient luxurious world.
