Glacier, an icy and blinged out Smooth Standard ballroom gown. To begin, it is a beautiful teal color. The front has a scoop neckline, while the back is completely open, with two elastic straps for support. The design of the dress starts with a sheer mesh, and transitions into a matching lace fabric. Mesh wraps around the hips with horizontal gathers. This emphasizes the drop waist, and elongates the figure. From there, the fabric changes to a lustrous satin fabric which makes up the skirt. The skirt is full with a ruffle ribbon trim at the hem. Lastly, the Smooth Standard dress has built-in bra cups and a bodysuit.

This ballroom gown shines with icy crystals and embellishments. Firstly, appliqu├ęs that look like icicles hanging from a mountain, drape on the dress. From the bust, wrapping around to the back of the dress, over the open back, and down to the hips. These icicles start with specialty large Swarovski crystals, and are covered in AB and Blue Zircon crystals. Similarly, the bodice of the dress shines with Swarovski crystals. The front neckline has AB crystals, while the lace has both color crystals outlining its twirling shapes. The dress comes with accessories that have floats attached. This allows the dress to be both a Smooth and a Standard.

Who doesn’t want to be on the ballroom floor, dripping in ice – frosty, shiny, and mesmerizing? Dresses that sparkle and shine have always been associated with high end designs. Valentino creates a vibrant look using sequins in a royal blue mermaid floor length gown. In another look, Valentino accomplishes this same feel, but using lustrous satin instead. Another mermaid gown, but this time using various sheen satins and color blocking. There are so many glittery ways to go, and in ballroom you get to explore them all!
