Holly & Ivy

This gorgeous Designs to Shine Smooth gown is both a Purchase and Rental! A stunning strawberry red dress with green motifs and Swarovski crystals. Firstly, the base layer of the dress is made from a strawberry red stretch fabric. The front of the dress has a rounded v-neckline, while the back has strappy detailing. A textured burnout fabric drapes over the right shoulder and left hip. It is in a matching cranberry red with a mossy green fauna print. Additionally, the skirt has several godets made from the burnout fabric. The skirt finishes with a lustrous ribbon hem. Lastly, the dress has built-in bra cups and a bodysuit.

This Designs to Shine Smooth gown has so many crystals, its hard to believe it’s a rental! Swirling appliqu├ęs accompany the burnout fabric. They are completely stones with 5 mm AB and specialty large AB Swarovski crystals. Furthermore, the textured fabric has green Swarovski crystals outlining the vine-like shape. The left bust and strappy detailing on the back also have specialty large crystals. The cranberry red fabric has Swarovski crystals shining in a matching color. The stonework on this dress is so perfect, intricate, and elegant which ensures it will sparkle on the ballroom floor!

Holly and Ivy, a dress of flora, fauna, and fashion. Nature has always been a source of inspiration for art, fashion, poetry, and music. Its no wonder this trend will never go out of style. For example, Fashion Designer Georges Hobeika created a stunning white ballgown with glittery pink trees, leaves, and blossoms. Feathery 3-D flowers adorned the tube top neckline and hem. It was all about the intricate foliage on his dress. And Rahul Mishra creates an entire landscape on his glittery overcoat. The coat starts at the night sky, changes to leafy scenery, and then dives into the depths of the ocean complete with embroidered squids.
