Honolulu Honey

Honolulu Honey, a gorgeous and vibrant Smooth ballroom dress that is every dancer’s dream! The dress is made from neon red and champagne nude fabrics. Firstly, the front bodice, and hips are made from a luxurious bright red velvet fabric, full of texture and beauty. The velvet gathers gently creating the perfect silhouette. Secondly, the back silhouette is made from a nude mesh fabric. It creates the illusion of an open back. Thirdly, the skirt transitions into a chiffon-like fabric also in an illustrious red. It is several layers with a horsehair hem to add plenty of volume in the skirt. Lastly, the dress has built-in bra cups and a bodysuit.

From the appliqués to the magnificent stonework, everything on this ballroom dress is bright and beautiful! To begin, petal appliqués in red and coral adorn the dress creating floral motifs. They remind us of a Hibiscus, a stunning Hawaiian flower. Next, top of the line crystals shine all over this dress. From specialty large crystals in AB that emphasize the floral motif to Light Siam crystals that create shading on the flower petals. Even the nude mesh fabric on the back shines with Light Colorado Topaz, AB, and various other colors. Additionally, the dress comes with a pair of gauntlets which are also a vibrant red. The bright coloration of the gauntlets will show off your beautiful arm work.

Neon ensembles are a great way to grab somebody’s attention, and in ballroom, we want the focus on us on the dance floor! Christopher Kane, a designer who just released his label, knows he needs to grab the attention of fashionista’s everywhere. To accomplish this, he uses vivid coloration including lime green, highlighter yellow, and fluorescent orange in his Spring 2020 line. Take this punchy trend for a twirl on the dance floor!
