Legacy

Legacy, a wonderful white and champagne Smooth ballroom dress by Artistry in Motion. To begin, the dress has a round neckline on the front, and a scoop neckline on the back. The initial necklines and long sleeves are made from a stretchy nude mesh fabric. The bodice from the bust down is still made from the nude mesh, but has a nude knit fabric underneath as a lining. It creates a second sweetheart neckline on the front. A white belt wraps around the nude waist. The dress then switches to a satin-like fabric for the skirt. The skirt is two layers with the outermost being white, and the lining a lustrous silver. Furthermore, the front of the skirt has a high slit on the left side. Lastly, the dress has built-in bra cups and a bodysuit.

The embellishments on this white ballroom dress contribute to its magnificence and glory. Firstly, the dress shines with Swarovski crystals in AB. They adorn the bodice, long sleeves, opening of the slit, and the belt. Secondly, the dress has luxurious white appliqués made from white thread. The appliqués adorn the sweetheart neckline, the center of the bodice, and wrap around the waist and hips to the back of the dress. Even the appliqués sparkle with Swarovski crystals, including specialty large crystals!

Ballroom dresses come in an endless variety of indulgent designs and effervescent hues. However, sometimes a spectacular white dress creates the loudest statement of all. Elie Saab, a fashion house known for its usage of rich colors decided to let white be the star in the label’s Spring 2020 collection, with the color both starting and ending the runway show. This color is a clean palette that is great to build upon. It’s just a matter of preference, red lipstick or fuchsia, cut-outs or no cut-outs?
