Renaissance

An astounding Standard ballroom dance dress in black with a popping cerulean blue. To begin, the bust starts with a stretch knit fabric in black. Likewise, the off-the-shoulder short sleeves and bodice are made from the same fabric. A bright cerulean blue trim the edges of the dress. Additionally, it forms princess seams on the front and back, with long ribbons in a matching blue draping from the end of the princess seams. Next, the skirt has several godets made from a lustrous satin-like fabric in black.  The hem of the skirt is made from a sheer black fabric with three rows of horizontal blue ribbon. Blue chiffon floats start on the back of the dress and attach to wristbands. Lastly, the dress has built-in bra cups, a bodysuit, and a cerulean blue zipper down the center back.

Beautiful embellishments adorn this Standard dance dress. Firstly, shiny crystal accents make the dress pop even more. The blue detailing has AB and blue crystal accents. Similarly, the bodice of the dress has Jet (black) crystals sparkling on it. Secondly, cerulean blue embroidery appliqués in a matching blue are blossoming in between the princess seams. They are floral, and also have crystals accents in AB and blue. This is the perfect dress for someone who wants a black dress, but wants to stand out on the ballroom floor!

If you prefer elevated sophistication, you may love the truly chic off-the-shoulder trend. After all, showing a little shoulder never hurt! It is the perfect balance of showing off a little skin mixed with tasteful reserve. To illustrate, Carolina Herrera has an array of sophisticated dresses with this trend, including flattering polka dot and floral prints. Halpern goes wild with their motifs, sporting the sleeveless trend on ensembles ranging from leopard to psychedelic prints.
