Romancing The Stone

Romancing the Stone, an elegant all white Smooth Standard ballroom dress by Chrisanne. To begin, this romantic dress starts a boat neckline on the front, and a v-neckline on the back. The front neckline is made from a stretch mesh fabric. Furthermore, the dress transitions into a stretch knit fabric. It makes the bust, center bodice, hips, and skirt. The Chrisanne logo sits on the hips. Long sleeves and side panels are made from the mesh. The skirt is very voluminous with several layers and godets made from chiffon fabric. Lastly, the dress has built-in bra cups, a bodysuit, and detachable floats as accessories.

The stonework on this white Smooth Standard dress is perfect, in true Chrisanne fashion! Firstly, Large specialty premium crystals in Aquamarine AB shine on the center of the front and back bodice. They form a cluster like a star radiating with light. A diamond shape made from sparkling crystals surrounds the cluster of stones. The top half of the diamond is Dorado and the bottom is Aquamarine AB. On the bust, Dorado crystals form radiating circles that wrap around the front and back. Similarly, on the hips, rows of crystals start in Dorado, wrap to the mesh, and switch to aquamarine on the mesh. In between all the line work, AB crystals glitter. Every crystal on the dress is thoroughly thought through, and shows in the design!

When it comes to ballroom wardrobe must-haves, a white dress should definitely be on the list. White is fresh, bold, and makes a statement. Givenchy, had several little white ensembles in the label’s collection. From a sweet and sultry lace gown with floral appliqués to an impeccably tailored and smart floor length dress. This trend lends itself effortlessly into the ballroom, after all, they say you win in white.
