  1. Complete the Reservation Request and submit it. If you are unsure about any fields, please enter “Unknown.”
  2. Place each dress and any accompanying accessories inside a plastic zip-top bag and put them in your shipping box.
  3. Check our Shipping Information to decide on the best shipping method. Email us the tracking number and ship date, so we can anticipate delivery.
  4. Once we receive your dress(es), you will receive an email confirmation from us! Upon arrival, each dress will be meticulously examined by a couture refurbishment specialist to determine its specific needs.
  5. After this assessment, a detailed bill will be sent to you, outlining the recommended treatments, starting at a minimum of $225. Once the bill is paid, your dress will begin its treatment at the Encore Ballroom Couture Dress Spa!

WHY SHOULD I CARE ABOUT WHATS IN THE PRODUCTS USED TO CLEAN MY DRESS?

“A 2012 analysis by Women’s Voices for the Earth found reproductive toxins such as toluene, phthalates and carcinogens like 1,4-dioxane and chloroform in popular cleaning products for clothes.” –Green America

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY DRESS?

Our normal turnaround time is 2-3 weeks, depending on availability of supplies.

IS RUSH PROCESSING AND DELIVERY AVAILABLE?

Yes, we do provide rush processing for a fee of $75.  We will process and ship your dress within one week. Certain dresses with specialty embellishments that need to be ordered may require more time, but you will be contacted if we feel that is the case.  Our services require a minimum of four days for processing.  You are able to select your preferred delivery method, including overnight shipping.

WHAT METHOD OF SHIPPING WILL BE USED TO RETURN MY DRESS?

We use FedEx as our shipping company of choice, and they do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. The package will arrive same day, or within 1-7 business days, per your request. It will be delivered with direct signature required, so please provide an address you can be reached at during business hours. The shipping cost will be charged to the credit card or FedEx account number you provide on your Reservation. If charging the shipping cost, please note it will show on your credit card statement as a separate charge. We will email your shipping invoice and tracking number to you once the package has shipped.

WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW IF THE FABRICS ON MY DRESS HAVE BEEN PREWASHED?

That is not a problem.  We evaluate each portion of your dress prior to commencing the cleaning process.

ONCE YOU RECEIVE MY DRESS WHAT HAPPENS?

Upon arrival, each dress will be meticulously examined by a specialist in couture refurbishment to determine its specific needs. Following this assessment, a detailed bill will be sent to the client outlining the recommended treatments, starting at a minimum of $225. Prices may vary depending on the dress. Please see below for examples of additional services.

Additional Services:

Replacement of bra cups, major stone replacement, finger loop replacement, replacement of hooks or snaps, zipper replacement, removal of old/discolored/excessive glue, and replacement of feathers are available. Other services can be provided upon request.

CAN I SEND ACCOMPANYING ACCESSORIES?

Yes, we would be happy to include your accompanying accessories in the cleaning process for your dress.

WHAT METHOD OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Checks made out to Encore Ballroom Couture, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards. If you choose to pay by credit card, a %5 credit card processing fee will be added.

NOTE: We currently do not accept Discover or debit cards.
