International Shipping Instructions

This is for the submission of dresses to Encore Ballroom Couture for appraisal.

International shipping can be done through FedEx International, UPS Worldwide , TNT Post, DHL International, or any other reputable shipping company. Please ship your package with a tracking number and signature required upon delivery. Please email us and we will provide our studio address to ship to. (The United States Postal Service (USPS) does not allow anything other than USPS shipments to P.O. Boxes.) Once shipped, email your tracking number, so that we can anticipate delivery.

Please pay for the shipping label through your local shipping facility. You may use your account numbers for FedEx, UPS, or other international shipping companies. We will email you once the dresses have been received.

Customs Note: All international shipments may be delayed through customs, so please take that into consideration when choosing your method of shipping. Note: You are responsible for all duties and taxes associated with your shipment to Encore Ballroom Couture.

Note: Purchasing insurance for your package is completely at your discretion. Each carrier offers different options for insuring packages.

Note: We would recommend placing each dress and any accompanying accessories within a plastic zip top bag in case your shipping box would get wet or be exposed to moisture during transit.

Special Note: Red text denotes the most urgent shipping option. We are thrilled to provide this same day service for your most urgent shipping needs!

Return Shipment

We use FedEx International Economy as our preferred shipping method. The package will arrive within 2-5 business days, per your request. It will be delivered with direct signature required, so please provide an address you can be reached at during business hours. The shipping cost will be charged to the credit card or FedEx account number you provide on the Appraisal Request. If charging the shipping cost, please note it will show on your credit card statement as a separate charge. We will email your shipping invoice and tracking number to you once the package has shipped.

FedEx International

FedEx International Next Flight: Same Day: Ships your package on the next available flight for urgent shipments. This is a door-to-door, customs-cleared service. Pickup of your package in as little as 60 minutes after your call to (+1) 800-974-7333 can be accommodated. Hand Carry is available. If your package is suitable to be carried onboard passenger aircraft and is approved by the airline, we can arrange to have your package accompanied by a courier while in transit. The Hand Carry Fee is based on the travel cost of the courier and will be quoted at the time of transaction. IMPORT delivery to U.S. customers from more than 220 countries and territories on the fastest available flight.

FedEx International First: 1-2 Business Days by 8 AM: Delivery to key global markets Mon-Fri with Saturday pickup available in many areas. Delivery is door-to-door, customs-cleared service. IMPORT – Inbound delivery to select U.S. ZIP codes from more than 60 countries and Caribbean islands in 1 or 2 business days by 8 AM or 8:30 AM.

FedEx International Priority: 1-3 Business Days: Delivery available Mon–Fri, with Saturday pickup and delivery available in many destination countries. Door-to-door, customs-cleared service is available. IMPORT – Time-definite delivery typically in 1, 2 or 3 business days. Delivery to most U.S. addresses is by 10:30 AM or Noon (by 5 PM to more-remote areas). The Asian network provides you with next-business-day delivery from Asia to the U.S. Ship until the close of business in Western Europe and get next-business-day delivery by 3 p.m. to many major East Coast markets in the U.S.

FedEx International Economy: 2-5 Business Days: Delivered Mon–Fri, with Saturday delivery available in countries where Saturday is a regular business day. Delivery is door-to-door, customs-cleared service. IMPORT – Time-definite delivery from Canada and Puerto Rico to the U.S. typically in 2 or 3 business days. Time-definite delivery from Mexico and key Asian and Latin American markets to the U.S. is typically delivered in 3 or 4 business days. Time-definite delivery from key European markets to the U.S. is typically delivered in 4 business days.

UPS Worldwide Express NA1: Next Business Day: Delivery typically by 10:30 AM: Select European business centers in Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom offer this service. Overnight delivery; Guaranteed by 10:30 AM where UPS Worldwide Express service is available. This option offers door-to-door service with in-house customs clearance.

UPS Worldwide Express Plus: 1-3 Business Days: IMPORT to USA – Delivery by 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM; Next day delivery from Canada; Delivery within one or two business days from Europe, Asia, and Latin America. This option offers import door-to-door service with in-house customs clearance. Saturday delivery is available.

UPS Worldwide Express: 1-3 Business Days: IMPORT to USA – Delivery by 10:30 AM or 12:00 Noon; Next business day delivery from Canada and Mexico; One or two business day’s delivery from Europe, Asia, and Latin America. This option offers import door-to-door service with in-house customs clearance. Saturday delivery is available.

UPS Worldwide Saver: 1-3 Business Days: Delivery by end of day: IMPORT to USA – Next day delivery from Canada and Mexico; Delivery within one or two business days from Asia, Europe, and Latin America. This option offers import door-to-door service with in-house customs clearance.

UPS Worldwide Expedited: 2-5 Business Days: Delivery by end of day: IMPORT to USA – Delivery within two business days from Canada; Delivery within two or three business days from Mexico; Delivery within four or five business days from Europe, Asia, and Latin America. This option offers import door-to-door service with in-house customs clearance.

UPS 3 Day Select from Canada: 3 Business Days: Delivery by end of day: All Canadian provinces offer this service. This option is an ideal mix of economy and guaranteed on-time delivery. This option offers door-to-door service with in-house customs clearance.

UPS Standard: Day definite by date scheduled: Delivery by end of day: Dependable, cost-effective shipping for less-urgent shipments from Canada, and Mexico.
