Braveheart

Braveheart, a bold yet chic red Standard ballroom gown by Designs to Shine. Firstly, the bodice of the dress is made from a red floral lace with a nude lining. The front of the dress has a sweetheart neckline, while the back has a deep plunging v-neckline. The dress features long sleeves made from a red mesh fabric. Chiffon floats attach on the back of the dress and connect to the end of the long sleeves. The dress features a drop waist, and transitions into a skirt made from several layers of a slightly sheer fabric. The hem of the skirt has a lace trim that matches the bodice of the dress. Lastly, the dress has built-in bra cups and a bodysuit.

High end European crystals elegantly glitter on this red Standard ballroom gown. To begin, AB crystals outline the neckline, drop waist, and hem on the sleeves and skirt. They mimic the floral shapes on the lace creating a sparkling flower motif. Secondly, Light Siam crystals fill in all the spaces in between. They shine on the lace bodice, sleeves, as well as sections of the skirt. The beautiful stonework on the dress ensures it will radiate on the ballroom floor!

The power of red: “Revolutions are ignited by it, the camera loves it and people go to court over it – no other colour has the extraordinary appeal of red,” says Vogue fashion editor Charlotte Sinclair. It’s true, red is certainly a show stopper. On the runway, Cristopher Kane exhibited a quirky all red suit, with a patent faux leather jacket, smart trousers, completed with matching heels and a purse. Emilia Wickstead took a sweeter approach, with tailored yet soft vibrant red dresses. This color is great for ballroom, because it loves to be seen on the dance floor!
