Oh say can you sea, this beautiful pink rental ballroom dress?! A Smooth Standard ballroom dress in a popping pink and nude. Firstly, the base layer of the bodice is a sheer nude stretch mesh, forming the foundation of the dress. Secondly, a pink fish net material elegantly lays on type creating the design of this dress. It forms cups on the bust, and is asymmetrical forming a neckpiece from the right bra cup that wraps around to the neck to the back side of the dress, also on the right. Similarly, the pink mesh forms lines criss crossing on the front bodice, and outlines the deep plunging scoop neckline on the back of the dress. Lastly, the skirt is made of a pink jersey fabric and has godets made of pink chiffon.

The sparkling embellishments and accessories mer-maid for this pink rental ballroom dress! To begin, the dress has large specialty crystals in a triangular shape emphasizing key areas of the dress. Furthermore, high end stones in AB, Fuchsia, and Rose shine on every part of the dress, from the neckpiece, down to the hem of the skirt. Accessories on this dress include two wristbands with attached floats, changing the dress from a Smooth to a Standard. Finally, this dress has built-in bra cups.

The netting on this dress, especially covering the bust like two seashells inspired us to name it, Mermaid. Model, Abbey Lee, was transformed by Thom Browne into a Mermaid at the Met Gala. On Brown’s website, he describes Lee as “a glittering creature of the bright blue sea, a siren song for seafarers since time began.” The dress consisted of gold hand stitched sequins, delicate white silk and lace, and two glimmering shells at the bust.
