Shanghai Siren

This merlot burgundy ballroom dress is part of our European Collection made by the designer June. To begin, a burgundy knit fabric makes the dress. The front has a plunging neckline, with a nude mesh insert. The dress features long sleeves that finish with elegant gloves. Talk about chic! Godets cut on the bias add irresistible fullness in the skirt. Due to this, just walking to the ballroom floor the dress is already dancing, full of movement in the skirt. Lastly, this ballroom dress has built-in bra cups, a bodysuit, and an invisible zipper down the center back. Since the only closure is the zipper, it is perfect for quick changes.

The meticulous stone work is what makes this dress so glamorous! Swarovski crystals in AB and Light Siam (red) hug the bodice. The Swarovski stones start off in a scatter motif on the bodice and long sleeves. ThenĀ  the crystals form rows starting below the bust, reaching to the waist, and circling around to the back of the dress where it finishes in a downward point. This intricate stoning slims the waist and makes a beautiful dress silhouette. In this Smooth burgundy ballroom dress, you are sure to make a statement!

We drew inspiration for this dress name from, Shanghai, the ‘Paris of the East.’ Shanghai is one of the richest and biggest cities in China. In its prime, Shanghai had the best art, greatest architecture, and strongest business. It was known for its buzzing city life with glitzy restaurants, fun dance halls, and a melting pot of many cultures. Just like Shanghai, this dress denotes influence from both Western and Eastern cultures. From the deep and sultry red fabric to the glitz and glam of brilliant Swarovski crystals. In this dress, you will make a statement louder than a siren!
