Viva La Rosa
A phenomenal Smooth Standard rental dress in brilliant pink and black with floral designs. Firstly, the dress starts off with a black stretch knit fabric. It creates a halter neckline with a hook and eye closure, as well as, the bust with beautiful gathered detailing. The top portion of the back is open. Secondly, the dress transitions to a pink stretch knit fabric that makes the bodice. The pink fabric houses an invisible zipper closure down the center back. Next, the dress switches back to the original black fabric used at the bust. Instead of a solid seam, it is asymmetrical with varying zig-zags. The skirt is made of several layers of fabric. The top layer is a sheer black chiffon that shows the bright pink fabric underneath. As it twirls, one can see the gorgeous color variations in skirt.
Viva la Rosa, which translates in English to long live the rose. The embellishments on this Smooth Standard rental dress create a lavish floral motif. Crystal accents in pink, red, yellow, orange, and purple create the flowers, from the petals to the center. Furthermore, green crystal accents create the leaves and vines. Black crystals sparkle on the black fabric that makes the bust. Similarly, iridescent crystals shine on the pink fabric. The accessories have floats attached, changing the ballroom dress from a Smooth to a Standard ballroom dress.
The blossoming trend of florals never go away, from large scale taking over a garment to a dainty small print. Once upon a time, florals were thought to only be worn during summer, and spring, but now it is popular every season. This trend elegantly translates on the ballroom floor. Ballroom dresses can have floral appliqués, crystals that create the shape of flowers, flowers made from chiffon, the list goes on and on!
